As long as it's running within the legal limit then everything is fine.

 

Yes i know moxy but if they see it has been modified to allow a easy adjustment ,then who knows what would happen

 

More than likely be given some headaches with a thorough inspection of all your rifles

It's a topic that's been done to death on here in the past mate.

You would have to get some arsey bellend of police officer for them to falsify or tamper with your gun to put it over the legal limit.

Even then it would still be up for mitigation.

Just because you have removed the anti tamper or have clear access to potentially adjust the power of the gun isn't illegal.

Now. If you had history with the old bill or was caught somewhere or doing something you shouldn't. Then I suppose the outcome could be different.

Out of interest jon, what's the accuracy like with the bis mags.

My 100 didn't like the jsb's but spat bis mags out like a proper tac driver.

I haven't done any proper accuracy testing with them yet mate - I put though 20 shots just to check the power.

I've just arranged to take it out tomorrow night. Hopefully it'll get me my first rabbit of 2017.

 

Stick a blob of locktight on the thread Jon, it'll free back up with pliers and an hairdryer and it's back to anti tamper status!!

Well, I made it to the range yesterday.

 

I forgot to take the Bis Mags (sorry Matt), I only had JSB Heavies in my bag.

 

The rifle did ok but, It could be better. It's bang on every time up to 40yrds but, the target below was done at 50yrds - 3 shots at each 1/2" circle. There's some good shots in there but, some misses.

 

.... There was barely any wind yesterday, it was warm and sunny so, I can't blame that.

 

Also, I think I may have unbalanced the rifle by adding load to the hammer spring and doing nothing with the regulator

.....I was getting around 60 shots before - I'm now getting 30.

 

I think I need to do some research, then have a good look at this.
