I could of sold it so many times at the range Phil yesterday But thats the one thing i told Barry i would not do

 

I had a long time thinking about it and i new you wanted one and you cant get any better than this old classic

 

and it would not get used that much with me as i would only use it on the crows or at the range

 

she is not heavy at all phil and would suit a 3,9,40 scope to keep the wait down

 

I told Si if you did not want it then he could have it so you may as well go and pick it up it will make a good hide rifle

 

the power is creeping up on her as the internals are bedding in she is sitting at 9,05 but at the range she seemed to be getting better once you cock her you will know what i mean .

 

for the last two years you have wanted a mac stock well here is one but you may as well have the action to go with it lol

 

I even got the case to keep her safe

 

she is a mark 4 or 5

I now need to start looking for a nice little scope. I would love to put something in keeping with her age but in truth my eyes are not good enough to shoot with any scope that doesn't have 'AO' otherwise I cant see fine detail so I will pop into the RFD tomorrow and see what he has in the s/h cabinet. I wish I had still got my little Leapers Bug Buster scope, that would have been ideal.

Same hear Phil and by the time i got one the 97 was on the scene and made the air sporter look old

 

sold her so i could get a hw97s and the rest was history

The blueing is thin mind Phil some times she looks silver and other times she looks black but i think she looks well this way

Well I have the shorts as I am never out of them unless shooting but the white shirts and ties went to the tip when I retired and I suppose I am reliving some of my youth through air rifles anyway so I am ready to embrace a bit of nostalgia now.

I think you are right mate, I will be speaking to Si later, we can try to do something where he can also have a play with the Impact which is on his radar for the future.

 

What a fantastic range from the Airsporter through to high tech Impact, 12ft/lb ish up to 45ft/lb, something to suit every mood and demand.
