MickC 1,825
On one of the links I found about this case it mentioned that the one that got shot was known to Police to be involved in rural theft/crime as well as having burglary convictions. The old mans solicitor rubbished the injured mans claims that he was out looking for rabbits with his dog but using it as an excuse to be out on the rob.Glad the old man got cleared .
DogMan85 722
If I were family with the poor old bloke the little rat would be getting two broken hands and kneecapped as extra compensation. To the useless pigs, I don't know how they fcuking sleep at night. They dont, too busy out on the rob, the filth will have no doubt never done a days work in his life, sleep all day out robbing at night, great result, common sense for once. I was talking about the filth, and you're right there pal.

beast 1,884
If the guy was stealing then he deserves to be shot and it's a travesty the cps ever went ahead with a prosecution whether he's found not guilty or not. If the guy was lamping a few rabbits and the farmers taking potshots at him then I think we,ll all agree he's out of order and wants locking up.I knew this comment was going to come up and I disagree. That would give would be thiefs an excuse when on the rob. If your sneaking about someone's farm at that time in the morning then prepare to be shot.I'm pretty sure anyone poaching a few rabbits doesn't want to be anywhere near the farmhouse. No I think by the sounds of this guy he's a wrong un upto to no good, but I wouldnt appreciate being shot for wandering around farmland with a lurcher spot on, and if true that he been a dog thief as well , pity the old bloke put 12 g in his face , be one less dog thief .But you are right , ive been many a time somewhere i shouldnt have been lamping game , never went close to any farm buildings houses , i kept away in case they got any dogs there that start barking and get the aggro from it. lets face it people who going to pinch stuff from a farm, house etc , there not going to use a 1 million cp lamp, and light up the bloody farm, they use a torch with just enough light for the job. it used piss me off when say lads are lamping the fields are up to no good and steal from the farms, it crap , most lads are after wild animal rabbits etc , and for the very reason above . ray, thats exactly what these couple of c**ts did though wasnt it? pretended to be lamping but really out on the rob. for me, the big question is, just how do we go about changing the law so that we can protect our homes/family/property BY WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY? i guarantee that public opinion overwhelmingly would support moves to strengthen our sef defence laws, but how do we get the politicians to change this public opinion into action? gnasher16 30,470
spot on, and if true that he been a dog thief as well , pity the old bloke put 12 g in his face , be one less dog thief .But you are right , ive been many a time somewhere i shouldnt have been lamping game , never went close to any farm buildings houses , i kept away in case they got any dogs there that start barking and get the aggro from it. lets face it people who going to pinch stuff from a farm, house etc , there not going to use a 1 million cp lamp, and light up the bloody farm, they use a torch with just enough light for the job. it used piss me off when say lads are lamping the fields are up to no good and steal from the farms, it crap , most lads are after wild animal rabbits etc , and for the very reason above . I agree with this, not everybody crunching around in fields is an accomplished hunter or expert in fieldcraft with knowledge and understanding of country ways many a time ive wandered onto land i shouldnt of been on just out of naïve curiosity of the countryside.........but surely this is where a mans previous convictions come into play, this guy has a load of previous for the exact thing he was caught doing so he clearly hadnt just mistakenly stumbled across the place 1 + 1 usually makes 2 when it comes to looking at someones past convictions why look at them if your not going to use them to form an opinion !! Anyway sitting in a wheelchair with a sports jacket and tie, blue strides stripey socks and a brown shoe the c**t deserves to be shot wearing clobber like that !!
micky 3,325
Should be allowed a few traps like 6 inch nails in a board like on death wish. I built a house for a chap a few years back and the site got robbed , he laid two doors down across the entrance that were studded with nails and covered them up , early next morning he pulled on the site and done allsix tyres on his pick up , he pulled out on to the layby and called the breakdown waggon and also his mrs to pick him up , his mrs came flying down the road onto the site in her Merc, sports and done both her front tyres.
