used one of these off joe....mustard.......great bits of kit to do you a turn.........handy for the rucksack for emergencies.......strong as an ox............

King/Leethedog, should answer both questions - I welded an m20 capscrew into the bottom half of the shovel... Then made a threaded insert to go up inside the top half welding that in. Once together, drill through both threads and lock together with another small nut and bolt.. But as katchum says.. Next season will he the tester!
