Rez 4,961
Not watched it yet, but funny you should bring this up. Had to get a new sharpening stone from the shooting show, only to find one I had when I was a nipper. Love a ultra razor like knife. Downwards across the stone, and a super shallow angle. mattwhite 1,993
Nice video VM. I will try this on my fish filleting knives too. They are sharpened weekly on a grinder and throughout the day with a steel but this looks like it gives a very fine edge pal.? Quote Link to post

My 98 and maybe my 97... I don't have access to such a device. In fact, Richard with his 99 done his. I'll collar him Quote Link to post

gurtwurz 792
you can pick up bench top grinders from Wickes/screwfix/machine mart for 30quid-ish lads, youll have to google paper wheels or find a knifemaking supplies online for them. dont forget to get a good polishing compound or it wont work as well... cheers, wurz 1 Quote Link to post
philpot 5,067
Well impressed with that Mitch. I need to route under some stuff in the garage for my grinder, same as the one in the vid. Phil Quote Link to post
