burnie69 376
I've imported eggs but not birds. I know Defra are involved when live birds are brought in .

neil cooney 10,416
Out of interest burnie what was your hatch rate like? Maybe Burnie PM'ed you Gnipper but several mates got eggs in and it's a pure lottery. I've heard of 1 from 60 eggs and I've heard of 18 from 20. I also know of one lad who got his box of eggs brought in with a big boot print in the middle of it breaking most of them.
burnie69 376
Both times I had 31 eggs outta 37 . Good success but they were brought in a suitcase . Not through the postal service.
Rabid 1,936
It really is a lottery with eggs, I sent some to Kenya last year, 10 from the dozen I sent hatched, I also sent some to Surrey and they said only 1 hatched from the 12 sent, from the same pen, in the same week, go figure !
