lurcher2020 285 Posted February 28, 2017 Report Share Posted February 28, 2017 Hi all I recently sent my aplication away for my shotgun certificate the police have cashed my cheque and i had a letter for my dr to fill out and send them back and have not heard anything back how long does it normaly take to process as i sent it away mid december just seeing if i should chase it up or if it normaly takes this long Thanks Quote Link to post

Paulnix 426 Posted February 28, 2017 Report Share Posted February 28, 2017 It could be worth chasing up that your Dr has done the letter and sent it off, a lot of them hold them back until payment, mine was held up for 4 weeks with my letter sat on a desk in the docs with me assuming they had sent it off. A mate off mine in Essex waited over a year for his first FAC. Although it was some time ago now , , when i applied for an open variation on my license , i had it back within 5 days!!!
