Marvel 472
Any pics ? Links to threads on here ? They look the part , But how biddable are they ? Is there brains or just Brawn ? I like a collie based type of ratcher myself but a bit of fire and drive can always add the extra element. Both brains and brawn, each dog is different in they're own way, I suppose you will never get two the same. had a bitch that didn't like other dogs, this one doesn't like strange people very much and my other two halfx are sound, if another dog shows any aggression what so ever to either of them they won't hesitate, (Ticking time bombs) when out with others who have aggressive dogs. The firstx is the one on the right. I tried to put better pictures up but were to big. Type in wheaten in the search bar at the top right hand side of the page and select forums, should bring up the past pages on the wheaten lurchers ATB IMG_9299.PNG Is the one on the left a half cross? Yes he is stronger than him, and faster. The only way I could upload this pic was to alter it to black and white. He is 11 months in this pic. ATB 7 Quote Link to post

So for example if you had a big strong 1st X bitch, you could find a similar type of first x dog and breed. Then you'd have halfcrosses that are more likely to throw like both parents. You could carry on by mating to other half x and first x that fit the bill and so on and so on - hopefully getting a bigger stronger stamp - maybe line breeding them to fix it. Equally you could breed two racy first x and go down that route - end result you could have a line of half crosses that are completely different from the first ones i explained.. 3 Quote Link to post
