Yes he is stronger than him, and faster. The only way I could upload this pic was to alter it to black and white. He is 11 months in this pic. ATB

Typically yes, but as many will know there is a big difference between the two. An f1 is the wheaten to grey, after that its selective breeding, f1-f1=f2 f2-f3 f3-f1 etc etc breeding best to best li

Any pics ? Links to threads on here ?

They look the part , But how biddable are they ?

Is there brains or just Brawn ? I like a collie based type of ratcher myself but a bit of fire and drive can always add the extra element.

Both brains and brawn, each dog is different in they're own way, I suppose you will never get two the same. had a bitch that didn't like other dogs, this one doesn't like strange people very much and my other two halfx are sound, if another dog shows any aggression what so ever to either of them they won't hesitate, (Ticking time bombs) when out with others who have aggressive dogs. The firstx is the one on the right. I tried to put better pictures up but were to big. Type in wheaten in the search bar at the top right hand side of the page and select forums, should bring up the past pages on the wheaten lurchers ATB post-26957-0-39645700-1488442861_thumb.png

How do ya find the first cross for pace ?

His Pace is nothing special, just like your average Lurcher. I find the halfx has a better pace than the firstx, ATB

Typically yes, but as many will know there is a big difference between the two. An f1 is the wheaten to grey, after that its selective breeding, f1-f1=f2 f2-f3 f3-f1 etc etc breeding best to best line breeding resulting in better halfx than first cross, an f1 is the start to greater lurchers to follow. Or so it should be, depends on the people who chose the mating of they're dogs wisely on abilities. Just my thought, Hope that helps. ATB
