A mate of mine had his whippet a dna test and it come back with dalmation, sheltie collie an staffy in it haha he then took his full saluki an it come back with greyhound an hound blood in it haha

 

Your mates certainy wasnt a saluki then go check DNA strands! your talking shite

LOL german papers just pissed myself you havent got a clue your out of your depth There are Genetic differences between Euro wolves and Asian wolves even greyhound DNA is totally different from saluki and Sloughi

Well educate us,mtell us what breeds are pure, what are cross breeds an what are mongrels haha, its okay saying folk out there depth, but prove it, teach us haha

genetically the Saluki is thefirst descendant from the Asian grey wolf .

Where did i say thevsaluki had german papers, i said it come from there, im sure as a pup it come from elsewhere but over your neck of woods, ill get paper work an post it, guy lives round corner, dogs is a pet but it looks nice type, but guy was stationed in germany an liked it, like a lot squaddies do an fetched it back

If its come from ROO ,then it wont be papered the only one papering desert dogs is Ghanem from His own Kennels and his own UAE club

Not 100% certain but maybe Deerhound or Irish wolfhound from European Wolf.

The Husky, Akita, Chow, Shar-Pei Basenji, Afghan Hound and the Saluki are thought to be some of the oldest breeds. There's other lesser known breeds that sit in that category too.
