neil cooney 10,416 Posted February 26, 2017 Report Share Posted February 26, 2017 The only way I've had several rats at once in a live trap was using one with a hook in it for putting a bait on. I don't put a bait on the hook but instead cover the floor in grain and when several rats are in it together one of them will touch the hook and close the trap. cantona 310 Posted February 27, 2017 Report Share Posted February 27, 2017 Left one by the kennels once , dog was barking at it in the dark in the morning thought strange as I hadn't baited it got back from walk with dogs and put my phone light on it and saw more than one took it in field and there was 9 juveniles!
