blackstaff 488
They are 7 now bud. Thanks, I really used to enjoy it here. Between myself and a few friends we liked doing our write up's / posts on our trips. Then it all started getting into a p!s$ing contest on the threads so we stopped. It almost started to get a decent following then the sniping started, and we finished !! I'm still out and about doing things and taking my photo's of the dogs at work. Got a page on that popular old ' Facebook ' thing now ! 1000's of pics of my lot walking the walk on there mate. I've not used photobucket for years ! Hope things are good with you. I'll see if I have a recent pic of my 2 and put it up for ya 1 Quote Link to post

brenner 773
Heard all the stories of these small lurchers killing fox season after season when in reality they took about 10 single in a good season.and pick and chose there strike and when they meet a good strong dog fox keep droping.or double up most the time.hope these little dogs work out for you.I've heard the same stories pal, the difference is the breeding, most lads have put any pit to any whippet, I've seen many great bull x's and I've seen many great small dogs , both equally good on a good number of foxes , each have the positives and negatives , Everyone has their own view on the perfect lurcher, horses for courses and what not.the bull/whippet thing was done over here years ago from good stuff both sides and it didn't last long as they were found wanting, to small to slow with no finish equals rubbish..tally.. can you tell me the name of the pit used in the x your talking about. Pm if you prefere. Id like to check it out on peds online if possible, just out of interest. A.t.b 1 Quote Link to post

blackstaff 488
Mainly raw bud, but also gain 20 as and when. If doing lots then they get more venison, less work then chicken. Every dog is different, I'm just lucky I guess 1 Quote Link to post
