C.green 3,231
Could be wrong but I think there 5mm just had a few shots with steel whilst walking the dogs early days but so far I think there a cracking little set not as fast as theraband tubes but enough poke to drop stuff with head shots may set the alarm and get out early for a few pigeons see how they do. Got some 6mm black square aswell but I'm not so impressed with this using 16mm lead.
carlstoke 34
Got some 6mm black from bells of hythe called asasin heavy draw and not very stretchy, the squares you get today are not as good as the stuff we used as kids, that stuff seemed to be a lot more stretchy, the stuff you want is linatex was used as conveyor belt rubber in the pit, is a pinky red colour, is cut from sheet/ two edges were smooth the other sides were textured, used to come on the sam stanley catapults, have you got yours on a milbro mate? C.green 3,231
Carlstoke are bell of Hythe still trading ? They used to do some cracking red square knocked over some stuff with them and the old bull elastic all used to use were pebbles then unless someone give me a hand full of lead shots. milbros all I use was first catty I picked up just got a few different types made from brass or Ali only others I got is an old Stanley frame a natural wich I'm no good with and a Ali rabbit stopper type wich is a goodun but just not a fan of the flats. Got a few different lead moulds here now one of thems the 16mm new forest range so just fancied going back and to the square but apart from these Goliath bands really struggling to find something suitable. I'll have to keep an eye out for that linatex stuff thanks for the heads up ??
