REMOVED ALL THE OLD LACQUER

 

SANDED THE STOCK BACK

 

STAINED THE STOCK

 

WIRE WOOL,ED IT BACK A LITTLE BIT

 

PUT FIVE COATS OF TRU OIL ON HER

 

BUFFED IT BACK TO REMOVE LINES LEFT BY APPLYING THE OIL

 

BEE ,S WAX,D AND A BUFF UP

 

JUST A FEW LITTLE MORE JOBS TO DO THEN THATS HER DONE

Si i would love to have it in my collection as a crow and pigeon rifle and im not just saying that

 

Elmer i was talking to a lad off hear the other day by pm,s he wants me to do his hw35 for him and the lad Kept saying ill pay you over and over again ,

 

I put my heart and sole into the refurbishments of these rifles and im proud of it even if every one else is sick of me and all the pics i put up on these threads but if it helps some one to do there,s then iv done my job and help,d some one

 

but there.s the thing Shaun JOB,,,,,If i charged for the work i do then it would be a job ,,,,and not a hobby

 

and what go,s around comes around

 

Since iv been on hear iv given away loads of gear

hunting clothes

 

gloves

 

coats

 

hats

 

so on and so on even rifles and once more iv even paid the post when iv sent them

 

all i ask is that there happy and a simple thank you dose me

 

But if i or Ethan want any thing all iv got to do is ask and the lads help me

 

Just look at your self your one of us now where a few months ago you only had the range to shoot on now you have loads to shoot on when your with us (me and viz)

 

and you help us out with other things if you have it and we dont even have to ask

I don't think anyone is fed up of seeing pictures of the process mate, I know I'm not and I wouldn't even class myself as an avid fan of wooden stocks or springers ????

so im going to try mine off the merlyn tomorrow

 

and we know there spot on

 

on saying that the mounts on them scopes you gave me are sh*t lol

 

bet if i changed them for good ones ?????????????

here are a few pics of the work on the Relum tornado and the bsa cadet

 

I could not get the blueing to take on these two (sanding and polishing) as much as i try,d

 

and with them both having split stocks and not good enough to be donated for charity

 

im going to sort them out and give them away

 

the cadet is going to some young lad or lass or some kids shooting club

 

the tornado is going to a very close friend of mine if he wants it

 

I spray,d the actions black on both rifles and im sorting the stocks out as we speak

 

need a few parts for the cadet ill get them sorted soon

Belucky (Barry ) has just been and picked the 35 up and is over the moon with it

 

and as a thank you gave me a new knife so im a happy chappy to lol

 

just need to shoot some rabbits now so i can use it

well mate I'm over the moon with the 35 , it looked well in your posts but so much better in real time ,, also thanks for the scopes that was a surprise lol, I cant wait to get out and give it a try , tell you what I was amazed how well the relum looks ,you have done a grand job on it too, its been a pleasure to meet you mate , I will definatly keep in toutch . atb barry
