arcticgun 4,548
I've paid for studs and culled all pups bar mine and I will again terriers lurcher s whatever I don't need I've paid for studs and culled all pups bar mine and I will again terriers lurcher s whatever I don't need coin fair play mate, but say yours fails, dies or succeeds and then dies your sort of left with no outs? another point is did anyone else actually want any stock off it? not everyone who does graft dogs knows loads of others who do or if they do they usually have there own on? so its not always cut and dried that mates will want or need excess stock you produce, Quote Link to post

bendrover 556
If it can't deal with a set of pearly whites it falls short in my book if he wasn't interested in money it be free to selected bitchesso every owner of each bitch covered should make money off a confirmed stud dog ? why should he allow people to use his dog for nothing? if that's the case should all the lads who use it give all the pups away? you name me one performance sport with animals involved where saplings and studs are given away? horse racing? greyhound racing, pigeon racing? granted the odd gifts are made, not everyone has close mates who are into the same sport as they are either, who says the dog cant deal with a set of pearly whites lmao? now considering I know the lad goes out with foot pack hunts I think you maybe a way off there, plenty coursing bred types do that job, I do concede plenty fail but then again plenty other types of lurcher including purpose bred ones fail too, but to be fair too the dog and owner its not bred used or studded primarily for its fox work is it? price of pups is down to the owner of the dam and them lads who want to buy them, do you go into ASDA and tell them how much they should sell there food for? no but hey your free too moan about the price and you can also wander down the road to ALDI and shop there lol most these pups sell at around 200-500, which aint to bad at all imho, look on any site and a cockerpoo could cosy you more, most peds dogs will exceed that pricing too, so what is really so bad about the price? that's kinda what I was going to say richy . But I couldn't be arsed lol Quote Link to post

But I couldn't be arsed lol spins in roundabouts don't it mate, its one dog n man one year and next year it will be another some people cannot get it through there heads you simply cannot buy a ready made champion, no matter how well its parents are bred/ran no matter how well its grandparents are bred/ran, there's wastage in every single litter weather its down too poor breeding or poor owners failing the pups, how many of these owners really put in the time and hours the top end lads do to get the best out these dogs, lot of risks involved doing it not too mention cost be it financial or personal, then joe average rocks up buys one ruins it and starts crying he been ripped off maybe people should really do there homework before purchasing said dogs, will it suit where I run at most of the time is usually a real good start, have I seen the parents running or have my trusted friends? is it possible to see the parents , speak too the owners or others who seen them> I reckon most buy simply cos they see the name again and again and think its easy route to having a good un 1 Quote Link to post

brambles 3,192
You might not moan but the fella who did has gone rather quiet, Hawkins stuck a picture of his pup up for us all to see and a tidy looking animal it is to and he ends up with all these pages of shite all because ONE pup out of f@ck knows how many hasn't turned out to be a wonder dog after its first season, holy f@ck lol 2 Quote Link to post
