pablo esc 1,598
David harcombe had a few books reprinted, I just bought the badger digging book brand new. Sat reading more hard work a few more heros, found Bit about his young border very interesting. only read the book above , my mate had it in the eightees , . used to get edrd at times. I didn't know dh would been interested in borders except maybe when he started out but didn't know he used a border to breed off ,,. Have to buy a book lol , any suggestions?, I know a lad who had the work hard treat like heroes but only spoke on the phone. He seemed bring a lot of books out and stuff Quote Link to post
Rabbit Hunter 6,613
The Badger book is a fantastic piece of work IMO. I always find with DHs books that he looks at things from a different view point to most people and it really gets you thinking once you've put the book down. 3 Quote Link to post
pablo esc 1,598
What I used to love about the books , reading or seeing them is that as well as education ( without cheating though ) , is that the put yourself and others in a good spirit of getting out with the dogs. A book years ago was very well thought of and done to be a book. Nowadays it not as cared about or accurate but saying that , Plummer could mix stories from gamefairs , a theorist too. Some men would laugh too nowadays about books and some take it serious . pictures were great and long lasting and stories could have you reading it well , like every bit over . good stuff. Just used be expensive to the poor man ,but something to cherish , . except when you borrowed one and be passed about an never returned 1 Quote Link to post

Rabbit Hunter 6,613
Tuzo is the book on ebay supposed to be a First Edition? I'm pretty sure the First Editions don't have the 1985 in the first page. I was led to believe they had no year date inside and then the second Editions had the 1985 stamped in? Quote Link to post
Fieldsporthunter 1,864
I read the badger digging book a few days ago and finished more hard work that was brought out in 2016 last night, The more hard work book is very very good, imo. Quote Link to post
