had a walk out last night on the fields didnt see much as of rabbits .saw a couple of woodcock and little owl on the ground . i think badgers killed this place last yr diggin young rabbits out . anyway i dont go this place that often i thought it would make a change somewhere different it was a realy strong wind because of open ground but managed two .

Woodcock really are dopey. Providing you are quiet and the lamp is directly in there eyes you can literally pick them up.

Very nice shooting mate off the knee

I would say 90% if not more of my shooting is off the knee , IMO one of the best shooting positions for hunting rabbits in the field

even though i didnt get many i enjoy the walk out better than sitting indoors
