Ill give that a watch

Ive just arranged to have some oaks dropped, no other option but still a bit of sadness. The biggest is probably best part of 150 year old.

I think you will like it waz.

Are you going to build something from the oaks you are dropping.

When you've got 500 oaks 20ft high in rows in front of you you've got to prune you'll never look at them the same again either

Good exercise for you mate lol.

Do you sell oaks that big.or are they planted for life.

The trunks are probably gonna be used for barrel making, all the limbs are mine and will be cut and split for firewood, if theirs some straight stuff ill try to make some better use from it.1 oak(the oldest) is towering over my neighbours house and the others are in the dam of my lake, so its got to be done. Got plenty more though! & plan to turn a couple of acres into a plantation.

The biggest (house to the right) with smaller ones on the dam end.

It would certainly be worth buying a big chainsaw and a milling kit if you got that much access to oak and your not up against time to cut it. I'm a tree surgeon and it's criminal cutting it for firewood when iv seen what can be done with it...when I get one that I'm not against time to get done il be milling it for sure.
