Hands of Stone 154
Am looking to get a spare locator box.... I already have the pieps type, but I am wondering if the red box is better or should I stick with what I know? Thanks for reading Quote Link to post

Rabbit Hunter 6,613
I'm still on the Pieps. Quote Link to post
Rabbit Hunter 6,613
Everyone Ive seen use the red box has whinged about it for one reason or another. The button sticking seems to be the main concern. Quote Link to post
dillydog 8,462
The button is a pain in the arse when it start to play up, but then again the sliding switch on the peips is as prone to breakage. I've never seen a screen broke on a red brick but I've seen plenty of the peips screens broke. IMO neither give a perfect mark, they're both close enough to be on the money with practice and knowledge. The brick is IMO a better box, more sturdy and without the annoying noise. 4 Quote Link to post
s.e.s.k.u 1,893
I honestly don't see folks problem with the red brick... I've had pieps in past there is no difference imo.. both have always helped us locate the dogs.. atb sesku 1 Quote Link to post

Corkman 944
Use the Barryvox myself. They are a good job with the B&F collar. My buddy has the Pieps with cracks all over it and hard resin sealant on one corner. Also has the old B&F chunky battery collar. Still works but someday he will realise the Barryvox is better! Ha. 2 Quote Link to post
