Looks like it could be the mother to 'topsy' the 'pure deerhound' for sale on gumtree, to be honest. Looks like saluki/bull/grey to me. Nice bitch

Yes she is micro chipped and been to the vets, I have got all the adoption paper work off the people I bought it off and also found her on their websites , either way she is now in a loving home and i

Nice bitch and I hope she works out for you but I think you were told some fibs. The people you got her from just wanted rid and never got her from a rescue centre. Any half decent rescue would have

Shes a nice dog.i didnt think rescue centers rehomed dogs unneuterd and to working homes.

Me too that's the general rule also rescue animals are only adopted so if they think/find out the adopted animal is not cared for within their adoption rules they can take it back.

She was adopted from a rehoming centre then put up for sale on the internet 4 days after , I went and seen her and fell in love strait away, no not bothered what's in her but would nice to know . The other couple got it off said that she was too bouncy for their little boy. I believe she wasent house trained has she has made a few mistakes in my house so far but is learning .

Does look a nice bitch to be fair. Alot of young lurchers are a bit too boisterous with young children. Hope it works out for you

Chris honestly still be aware the rehoming centre if its of good reputation still has the juristdiction as regards the dog,if the story is correct then the T**Ts who adopted her then went on to sell want ******* again if its true.

Any half decent rescue would have had the bitch neutered and microchipped. They would also make it a condition of adoption that the animal be returned to them if no longer wanted. Has the vet checked her for a microchip? This would tell you who her registered keeper was at the time she was registered. My guess is she is probably not microchipped.

I said 3/4 grey 1/4 bull but does look like saluki in her too now had second look.It shits me people getting working dogs and then say they can't handle them,I would have got rid of the kid instead.

My wife told me of a hippy type woman had a child, and the child developed an allergy to her cat,so as the cat was there first she sent the kid off to live with a relative, couldn't believe it !!

I agree that the most important thing is that she has now found a good home. However I am still reeling at the chain of events that led to you owning her. Very worrying for anybody who works their socks off to ensure a rescue dog's future. Selling a rescue dog on? :wallbash:

There's a lot on pets4homes or preloved that in advert say it was a rescue dog, sometimes I think its to get money back as if they hand it back to rescue they won't get any back.
