DIDO.1 22,846
I went for a look at a militaria fair today in Leeds. I expected loads of weirdos in military uniform but it wasn't to bad. I nearly bought a brass knuckles duster knife until I realised it was £1250 rather than £125! Loads of obsolete caliber pistols...Nearly had a little pinfire 7mm ladies pistol but I'd decided on a set of ww1 medals instead. A couple of sword sticks caught my eye aswell Edited February 12, 2017 by DIDO.

Everybody there seemed normal except the ww2 German stalls ....Having some German war artifacts could give balance to a collection but seeing a person with a huge collection of German stuff creeped me out.... Especially when it's all laid out on big swastikas Edited February 12, 2017 by DIDO.
Nik_B 3,790
Used to often go to them but found them full of fakes.....especially WW2 German Thats partly because of all the movies made in the 50s and 60s. It's a minefield excuse the pun.
ratbuster 808
Aaah, a real classic swordstick made by Mole in Birmingham. Just the thing for a stroll in the countryside for the gentry. Nice, but rather expensive.

There were 3 there, not nice ones but at £150-£180 each I nearly had one but I'd set myself a budget and went for medals in the end. Iv just found a middle eastern brass knuckles knife online for £750....All the others are £1000 plus .....I really fancy one now

A couple of sword sticks caught my eye aswell I went to the last one in Leeds, loads of intersting stuff and several times I was tempted to buy BUT like others have said I'm not experienced enough to know the real thing from fake. I suppose the guys who are selling the items do have the experience and it's a trust thing,
