Dunno what they charge for D/Gs but I'd guess it's less. I've never had one of theirs so couldn't comment on their abilities or price but might be worth a look if you could see some running? My own D/G is far from perfect but a lot of fun to run and now and again does stuff to make your belly drop. Makes it all worth while to me. Know what you mean about the price of pures though. I'd consider getting a straw from USA if I decide to breed from mine. 1 Quote Link to post

I'm not at all into bag chasing myself though I have nothing against it either BUT......... the hounds in any deerhound lure coursing just don't seem really ON if you know what I mean. I know from owning a deer/grey cross that they can get seriously fired up but not about chasing a bag. I'm probably wasting my time here as you're only taking the piss anyway, aren't you now?? low plains drifter 10,658
Never watched lure coursing of any type, I know one person that gave deerhounds the chance to achieve what they could as workers, and tried to improve on the breed, long time ago now, started off with deerhound crosses myself always liked them 1 Quote Link to post
