Had it apart again this eve. Just to up the power a touch.

Anyway, got an image of the back block. The drilling on the pin holes... Now Im no engineer, but surely the QC at HC would of thought "Hmmmm, shall we do another one?".

To be fair, it might of be sent from HW like this, but thats even worse.

It doesn't effect the rifle in anyway, its just a shame.

As an extra, should it be like this?! My old one wasn't and the drilling on me 97 is all well and surrounded by material.

Yeah man. Shame. I'm a f'kin massive HW fan, over the past ten years I must of spent nearly 2 1/2k with them (and maybe more in the future... maybe) and it's a risk for them as a company to finish the product like this. Times that by 10 I can name on this forum alone, not to mention the rest of the world who buy HW products and if we all start acknowledging the finishing on parts ain't as good, we may start looking elsewhere.

Let's be honest, surely there aware that the majority of the buyers of there higher end springers will have them apart in no time... there's no hiding bad workmanship. Surely they know that?
