zx12edge 1,001
Had a few setbacks this season with one thing and another. My strange bred dog hit a dyke at a fair old trot and knock himself up a bit was pissing blood for a few days but seem about fully recovered now and the old fella has had a cough that hast lasted a long time so he been on light duties. Had them both out today for a few hours and had a much needed mooch about and let them stretch there legs. The young dog is coming on well and i reckon i got me a keeper there ,he is a work in progress but i think next season we going to have some fun. the strange bred the old fella 7 Quote Link to post

my hounds 313
Just one question if you were "pissing blood" for a few days I dare say you would get to the doctors etc so why did you not get your dog to the vets??? Quote Link to post

Just one question if you were "pissing blood" for a few days I dare say you would get to the doctors etc so why did you not get your dog to the vets??? Steady on he was a the vets 30 minutes after he hit the dyke and been 7 times since, so has the other dog.the old fella was at the vets first thing this morning for a check over before i took him out. Maybe i should have mentioned that in my post. but i thought anyone would have took it for granted you do the right thing for your keeps 4 Quote Link to post
zx12edge 1,001
Never heard of them in lurchers any good His siblings are doing really well from what i have been told. Mine is showing a lot of promise. He has a cracking temp very intelligent a fair turn of speed and a nose like a bloodhound Quote Link to post
matt1979 766
Great to here the updates on the bouvier x always wondered what my bouvier would have produced x to a grey. She is very much in her twilight nowadays but I may be biased but think they have some serious intelligence and cracking coat and bit more racy than they look with their coat stripped out atb Quote Link to post
zx12edge 1,001
I am well happy with him so far.The bovier blood is definitely showing through got a lovely way about him mate.He is still imature but he sure ain't going to be an embarrasment. Quote Link to post
leegreen 2,222
My brother had one in the mid eighties, built like a Rottie and acted like one. He was out of Shutzlund type parents and was pretty drivey as I remember. A nuisance in a flat, had to be rehomed when it matured Wouldn't have thought to use one in a running dog, but why not, a decent one would clever enough. Does it find/catch owt? Nice type, good luck wid him op. Quote Link to post
