My season now ended got 4lurchers all now in sick bay 1 with ruptered flexor tendon 1 with a badley ripped stopper pad was nearly hanging off. 1 got ripped shoulder & punctured her muscle so full of stitches & staples & 1gone virtually blind!!! Happy Days my Arse!! Youd think with four i'd be covered?? Atb

My up An coming pup was put to sleep on Thursday due to Pickering up a strain of leptospirosis although vaccinated

Cheers bud i find the older im getting the more precious the season becomes so having all 4 out of action really hurts. But tbh 3 will be good to go again nxt season but the one going/gone blind cant ever work again so now she's a sofa dog. She still comes out on daily walks just have to be very mindfull with her. Great little dog in her day ? Atb

Thingsbjust get worse. I lost one of my beddy xwhips 15th feb had to be pts.My other got cut up on shoulder had to have 30 idd staples. Just getting over it & one of my other lurchers right at end of a walk ont ues eve dived into a massive bramble patch & eventually emerged with front leg soaked in blood got her home patched her up took to vet first thing nxt morning leg ripped to fcuk big swelling under top of front leg stitches on front of leg cuts all down leg stopper pad hanging off leg swollen possible fracture but too swollen to see properly on X-ray Ffs we were only on a walk as stopped hunting now. £300 vet bill dog all bandaged up!! Atb

Maybe not then Fingers crossed for next season for you. Sure mine spent half of this one on a lead recovering from one thing or another. I don't wish for the next season to come along quick any more. You never know how many of them you have left so best to make good use of and enjoy the summer months too

Fuji I now very much regret arse raping mother Teresa in my previous life!! Cheers for comments lads. Spent the nite on front roon floor with her as she was very distressed if i left her now i ache aswell!!! Atb
