mad4it 694
Having a chat with a friend about air rifles in genral we got round to talking about the paratrooper rifle as to who made it first I said it was bsa than asi being that from what i could find it used a metor action and shorten barrel but he seems to think it was gamo. so I am asking you lot your thoughts Quote Link to post
Baldcoot 2,352
I had the a.s.i sniper <beyond crappp>the better 1 was the a.s.i paratrooper ,from the depths of memory the paratrooper looked better and had more power.I would fire my .22 cal sniper on the 25m range and it took 2 seconds to hear the ding as it hit .The paratrooper took 1 second oh the power .Just found out A.S.I were the importer,s and had them made by Gamo atb 1 Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,551
My mate had the A.S.I Paratrooper, 40 odd years ago. I wouldn`t be at all surprised if the above ( Baldcoot) is quite correct about Gamo atb Mark Quote Link to post
ratbuster 807
Made in Spain by El Gamo (later changed to GAMO) imported by Anglo Spanish Imports aka A.S.I. http://www.shootinguk.co.uk/guns/air-rifles/could-you-tell-me-about-paratrooper-air-rifles-21620 Quote Link to post

Atticusdata 0
Had one in 1973 when I was just 17. Had it in my locked wardrobe when not in use. My stupid brother smashed my wardrobe at the back and ended up hitting a girl on the arm of her duffel coat. Thankfully nothing serious except the police took it away and I never saw it again. That's Brothers for you. Quote Link to post
