Born Hunter 17,837
Any MPs that vote against should be fired on the spot even though I want out and voted out I can`t agree with you there, if the people who voted them in voted out then THAT is how they should vote, not the way the party wants them to or their own personal choice but that is what the last vote was for, now they should put all party bullshit behind them and vote for whats good for the country for a change, , time the twats started to realise that the voting public is getting tired of their lies and b/s at election times I understand your point but I'd have to disagree for the following reason. In normal parliamentary practice an MP should represent their constituents, however in the event of a referendum the principle of representative democracy is being suspended and replaced by direct democracy. In this situation every MP has a duty to represent the will of the country, not their constituents. By MPs voting in line with their constituents you can very easily have a situation where the Commons votes in favor of Remain. It flies in the face of the entire concept of a referendum. IMO the MPs that voted against the will of the electorate are either ignorant to the above or don't care and are doing so to ensure they get re-elected by their upset constituents. Neither is excusable to me....
