Greetings From Canada

Recommended Posts

Hello, everyone. I'm from Canada and grew up at a time when firearms were viewed very differently here than they are now. I bought my first, a shotgun, at a local shop when I was 16, simply by having enough money and a hunting licence. Back then in Canada, one didn't need any special permit, just to be an adult or a licenced hunter if underage. I hunted as a youth and young man and then the responsibilities of continuing education and later work and family kept me from doing much of it. I returned to shooting several years ago, when I rediscovered airguns. I shot a lot of AA and Weihrauch, both springers and PCPs. Now I am shooting .22LR mostly from the bench, using Anschutz, Walther, and CZ. Earlier this week I bought a new-to-me Krico target rifle, which appears to be a 330S. I couldn't resist as they are relatively rare here. In my part of Canada, it is snow-bound during the winter months, so I am looking forward to the spring, when I can get to my club's rifle range again.
