I have a phobia of cows. Can be a right challenge when out mooching and I come across a cow field.

Anyone reason why? Bad childhood experience or summin like that?

Spiders here too, hate the dirty f***ing things! Met a bloke who was scared of peas once ?

Not a lot phases me but if there's a spider in the house I'm like a screaming girl haha...f***ing hate them

I've got a bit of a fear about mushrooms. The things with the black frilly bits under the hood. My dad used to tell me the mushrooms on the plate were slugs . Can't stand the things

I used to be irrationally scared of rats,but one day I manned up and confronted the fear. I just pinned one by the neck and dispatched it when we were ferreting.It's always the best way...confront your fears and stop being a big girls blouse. I think fear of heights is more a physiological thing but insects etc..just feckin get over it!

The strangest one I ever heard of was arachibutyrophobia - "the fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth".....

 

I think there's a 'phobia' for just about anything you care to think of !

Cheers for the heads up I never knew it had a name ...I've just looked it up and shown the wife https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trypophobia she seen the picture of the lotus flower seed head and ran out the room lol now she's moaning saying why did you show me that ....well that's one way to get rid of her

no reason what so ever just always been shit scared of them. My mates always take the piss out of me even the Mrs does. Got cows on the local moor at the back of my house where I take the dogs for a walk and I'll go home 3 hours later all because the cows are at the gate to get off the moor and I'll walk all the way back the way I came just so I don't have to pass them.

It's how I got over being scared of bumblebees ...my mate one day cupped his hands around a bumblebee on a flower and took it of the flower so it was buzzing about in his cupped hand he then got me to do it and once I did the fear was gone ...
