I was always never bothered by heights, but the last few years I cannot even look at a photo of someone in a high precarious position. I looked at the first post in this thread http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/366443-i-get-a-nosebleed-just-watching%f0%9f%98/ as soon as the video started I had to knock it off. I could not bare to look at it. I am not bothered going up ladders or on high buildings I can cope with that, but the famous photos of a bloke sitting on a rock with nothing below him, or the chap eating his lunch on a steel framework, just send shivers up my spine.

Irrational.

As I said, I have it too....And it's not irrational !

The fear isn't caused by the height, it's caused by the fear of falling...very rational, really.

I once knew a scaffolder, and told him that I didn't like heights - he suggested to me that "it's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the bottom !". So, he surmised that you shouldn't be afraid of the height, you should be afraid of the ground !

Heights.im ok sitting in a dozer pushing over a 100ft face the blade going over the hedge everytime.

But hate heights.it feels like my body wants to jump off for some reason and I'm constantly fighting against the urge weird feeling

As I don want to jump lol.

I get that feeling sometimes when I'm driving at night on my own. The feeling that if I wanted to I could veer off into a tree. Not suicidal or anything just realizing I have that control freaks me a bit
