What are you gonna use it for Phil? Maybe a bit of bench rest... Its so clean and new, do you dare take it out

 

The amount of tech thats, in a way, exposed, would do my head with small grit and bits that always get on the rifle when its out in the field. Even if Im just sat under a tree, I find that the usual sh*t ends up on the action. Imagine that on that.

 

I personally love the look, but those impacts even more special than my HM. I suppose, you could always shoot from a wagon with that amount of juice on tap.

It will be a combination of all things Rez, my friend in London uses his almost daily for hunting and has no problem and I am so careful with all my shooting and fishing gear, you would think it just came out of the showroom, pride of ownership I guess, when I pay my dosh, I like to keep it in as perfect order as I can.

 

I have only played a little with the power adjustment so far but it allows you to tune power to a pellet. For example, I only had a tin of JSB Kings available so tried on full power with a group of about 20mm then dropped to min power which produced a group of around 7mm. You can adjust at three different points taking the gun from around 10ft/lb up to 45ft/lb or perhaps more, not sure. It is a gun that can be tuned by the user to suit pellet, purpose and accuracy but slowly will be my mode, there is a lot of things to learn. There is a little bit of a learning curve with the gun on full power in terms of handling because whilst there is almost no movement rested, we are talking of a tiny degree of movement which is often seen in 'Teds Holdover' youtube footage when he uses the camera fitted to the scope but we are talking tiny. I can tell you the pellet hitting the metal back drop at the range makes a fcuking loud crack compared to legal limit guns

 

The shot count in 12ft/lb is around 700+ per fill, fac .22 30ft/lb approx 130 shots and fac .25 approx 100 shots so plenty of a day out even ratting which tends to be plenty of shots used.

 

I have just spoken to the firearms dept and it will be about 2-3 weeks for my variation ticket to come back so I will just be playing in the RFD range for now, when I am able to take it out, I will be going over to Humberside Shooting Ground where they have 25mt, 65mt and 100mt ranges to really play on so proper pellet tests will be done there.
