DogMan85 722
Bit of a head f**k, could we be living out the Matrix for real? If that's the case then why.... https://youtu.be/JB3v3bDba5g https://youtu.be/ccQPesc7HFs
KES2 171
No. Why aren't you worried about ensuring the earth keeps spinning and is properly greased ? There are loony ideas everywhere, somewhere someone occasionally believes it. Buy some foil and make a hat.

Tiercel 6,986
No, 100 years ago there were no computers, was that reality? The physical remains of our forefathers remind us that they lived and were real. Or are they saying that since the beginning of our time we are just numbers on a big screen, playing out a game from beginning to end for the amusement of the controllers? Because if they are then there is no universe. TC

walshie 2,804
Have a word with whoever wrote the program to make my life a bit more interesting. How come only some people get to be billionaires? We all could be.

Tiercel 6,986
I don't think it is a coincidence that most of the proposers are from bible belt America, it is a twist on religion. God/ computers created us and can control our very existence. It's a new cult trying to prove something with bull sh!t as most of us do not really understand computers. This computer generated simulation would be impossible to prove or disprove, so they are on a winner straight away. The more preposterous a theory the more it attracts nutters. You are assuming that there is a written program. What if there was not a program just totally random infinite choices> We are talking a binary code with infinite permutations. For there to be a program someone must have written it, and created everything within that program. Ring any bells? TC
