kanny 20,703
I've heard many times that these were prone to snapping in half but I didn't realise that the problem was so bad https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4195002/amp/Nissan-urged-recall-popular-4X4-Navaras.html?client=ms-android-sonymobile

socks 32,253
I said the same thing ages ago after my mate who owns the local garage told me he has had to weld up three in as many months .......

Greyman 28,881
fecking hell my mate viz off here bought one before xmas just tell him to get a pressure washer in the gap from time to time and maybe a bit of wax oil, the japs have always been fantastic engineers, but under sealing and rust prevention have never been a strong point even on there cars,

Fair play to the bloke, hes made thousands of owners aware of the problem and forced the hand of Nissan to stump up. https://www.(!64.56:886/groups/505526562959686/
neil r 1,861
Is it just navaras, walshie0988 off here had the chassis on his pathfinder snap not long back . Think he had to go through the ombudsman to get some money back but still lost out it
moxy 617
Pathfinders and D40's are affected Nissan are claiming it's only 55-57 plates which are affected but all ages are failing the inspections and some snapping. Up to 12 plates.
neil82 1,080
Is it just navaras, walshie0988 off here had the chassis on his pathfinder snap not long back . Think he had to go through the ombudsman to get some money back but still lost out it under the cab they are identical, as someone who has worked for years in a nissan workshop this pisses me off, bit like the d22 engines blowing up they would rather hide their heads than admit there is a problem and just fix the f***ing things, the amount it would have cost to fix d22`s would have far outweighed the cost of lost reputation and the chassis problem is going to go the same way, scrapped one years ago when it was just over 6 years old, on the quiet they have been buying them back for a while, cheaper than recalling them
stumfelter 3,034
One of these would be perfect for anybody that wants a Japanese penis extension but only has a small garage. Simply bolt hinges where the chassis is split and hey presto folding phallus...
ratattack 111
It's the Spanish built ones that have the real problems
The one 8,503
It was in the sun yesterday they are buying back older ones rather than doing a recall to save cash
Fellman Mark 607
My 06 navara snapped and the diesel tank came off other than that it was a good motor
