Tiercel 6,986
One thing that no one has mentioned is the positioning of the cages. All the photos I have seen from people who do it regular the cages are out in the open along side a well used run. There was a thread on here by Nod where he goes into detail about the positioning of the cages with photos but I cannot find it. TC Quote Link to post

Place them at the side of the rabbit runs in the open with the doors facing away from their burrows so they have the open door when they are returning toward their burrows 1 Quote Link to post
Hydropotesinermis 724
Pre baiting is crucial for cage trapping, wait for a time of year when natural food is low. Quote Link to post

Dirksdonuts 79
Pre baiting is crucial for cage trapping, wait for a time of year when natural food is low. Why pre bait.... Get the cages set and when a rabbit goes in for the first time then thats another one out of the way. We set 30-40 most days and have never pre baited yet. We also never cover the floors like has been mentioned. Quote Link to post
