blackmaggie 3,376
Posting on lamping is easy , getting the pictures up of two/three hundred rabbits is the hard bit. Not really there's an amazing invention called the freezer that can make anybody look like a legend if numbers are your game ....... Go back on moochers and tell them that , you ran away once, go back and match them lads , FREEZER TO FREEZER IF YOU WANT. that quote says it all Micky Quote Link to post
peterhunter86 8,627
For me its not about getting big numbers just one or two for the pot does me. The land i hunt you need to pull a ticket an wait your turn haha theres that many on it the fcuking rabbits are on moterbikes. I just like getting out for a few hours amd seen my dogs work. Some of the best days ive had i came home emty handed. Enjoy your own dogs while you can and not worry worry what others are doing. It doesnt benifit me or my dogs dribbling over what others are doing just get out and enjoy the walk full bag or emtey. And by the way katchum d.b has a better chance of donald trump knocking at his door and inviting him to dinner at the white houes than you have of getting on to moochers haha. Quote Link to post

stealthy1 3,964
Lamping is boring, fun in the 70's when I was a kid, I don't mind the odd night out, but the novelty wore off years ago. 1 Quote Link to post
Phil Lloyd 10,738
Its a piece of cake writing about a day or night out,..each trip out is a unique experience,...plenty of meat to chat about... Perhaps Phil, I certainly like having a chat about nights out with like minded lads, in fact 2 very decent lads off here helped me out today at my house, the topic all day was dogs, hunting and tons of piss taking... I just think posting on lamping ain't easy as a full nights tale is easier talked about amongst mates Hi Newkid,..the point I was making,..is whilst I agree, that most posts about Lamping are, by the very nature of the activity,..a wee bit on the repetitive side,...I still believe that a skillful wordsmith could possibly describe the events of a night's spotlighting in such a way,.. as to still entertain us...However,..from a personal viewpoint,..all I am saying, is that taking into account the vagaries of the Internet Forum,.with its seemingly competitive style of bish/bash arguement and embarrising bragging and boasting,....would it ever be worth the fecking effort.. Most exciting tales of daring deeds and after dark, skulduggery,..are best kept for a blather amongst genuine pals,...its usually much better craic..and is often,...far, far safer.. ginger beard 4,652
gaz89 used to put some good threads up about his day and night trips with his dogs but then the usual idiots started mocking about only catching 2/3/4 day rabbits and telling lies so that was that.same idiots don't put nothing on even if they know how to add photos. 2 Quote Link to post
