There does not seem to be any lamping posts now days , why is this ?the lads on moochers are catching them in the hundreds , have they got better dogs??? there is one picture with nearly four hundred rabbits but that is over two nights , come on THL show us what you can do.

How do I go about getting onto moochers

The thing is, unless it's a decent size bag or something unusual happened reading about catching rabbits is pretty much boring as f**k.

There's not much you can say to make it sound more interesting.

Went out, had a shine, caught a few rabbits, missed a few that got into hedges, f****d off home......the end !

A shame, but that's how the law is so there you go.

Got to agree, there's only so many ways you can say, shined the lamp, slipped the dog and caught a rabbit... becomes a bit sameish.

I'll put a post up about ferreting and the piss taking that goes with it, or something different fishing wise, but struggle to write much about lamping

Its a piece of cake writing about a day or night out,..each trip out is a unique experience,...plenty of meat to chat about... BUT,..experience tells us,...there is no profit in it,...no point,...no sport,...just needless confrontation,.. and jealous, girlyfied bitch fests.... Personally,..I think the bubble has burst....and it would need, a real good tale to excite most hunting lads....

Perhaps Phil, I certainly like having a chat about nights out with like minded lads, in fact 2 very decent lads off here helped me out today at my house, the topic all day was dogs, hunting and tons of piss taking... I just think posting on lamping ain't easy as a full nights tale is easier talked about amongst mates

See I didn't mean to sound a bit churlish in my post but for me the joy used to be in the myriad things you think about when you watch I used to watch the dog run.

It's very hard to get that over or make it sound interesting.

 

And let's not forget, there are plenty of lads on here giving their dog the sort of graft I could only aspire too......your not gonna tell them lads anything they haven't probably already forgotten.

The last thread I thought was a bit special and I really wanted to read was the American lads cayote thread, running them with them big stag hounds.......that's sort of thing really gets my juices flowing.

 

That said I would love a few rabbits to go at now but they are just no here.....at all.

A mate of mine also put one on here years ago when he was pig hunting in New Zealand.......brilliant and different.

 

The lads I had my old lurcher off had gone gold mining in Africa and wanted a line so they could bring on pups to take out there and run Dik Dik........I'd have loved to have read about that if they ever managed it .

I love lamping rabbits, got dragged round fields at 7 years old chasing rabbits, still love it now, but there's not much you can write about it...

 

Had 4 Thursday night, dog ran ok, only a couple of hours, not many rabbits about but I enjoyed it....
