arcticgun 4,548
had his last fight not been stopped by the cut he took, he would of been splattered, he was taking a lot of hard shots and not throwing,, so yea its amazing where they come up with the rankings If I was in a team that failed to get fighters into the last three fights they accepted, due too injuries I would heavily question the training they getting, same with all aspects of the management and support, the fighter needs to concentrate on what he good at, and be supported and have his needs met too give him the best chance, in their camp they get the wages but don't perform in best interests of the fighters, thought warren would of got a grip of all this by now, but he seems to be happy to roll with it all and let them do as they want Think it will be a long long time before he gets an opportunity like that ever again, add in the fact they so difficult to deal with, makes it pretty unlikely imho For the love of god I cant see why they cant look at the last few years and have a bit of a reality check, you really do have too question just how serious they really are about it all, maybe they happy grabbing a handful of money and legging it too the hills laughing, if so fair play, but stop taking peoples hard earned and not following through Edited April 24, 2017 by arcticgun

arcticgun 4,548
Just watched Saunders press conference, boxing dragged through the mud yet again, no respect shown towards opponent, Hennessey Promotions is a joke, its all a bit distasteful imho, why embarrass yourself like that? no self respect, when will these people learn, respect is earned and not demanded

A good boxer with a lot of talent will it be wasted? He used to be well thought of in the game, was a credit to himself, until he seemed to adopt a certain attitude, who knows maybe its the company he been keeping, fit and focused he can give anyone in his weight class a fight, way he seems to be going I cant see that lasting myself, good luck too him , if he set out to intimidate his opponent I reckon he failed , showed himself up from what I seen, no class whatsoever Edited April 24, 2017 by arcticgun

arcticgun 4,548
The day these lads realise respect is earned and not demanded eh, both Tyson and Billie Joe have been or are world champions, both where very popular with fans, they where a credit to their community, and portrayed it in a positive light, a fine example to young aspiring fighters in both cultures, then they get the titles and then came the change, when you world champion and nobody respects you but they all used too ,then you really do need too have a look closer too home for the reasons. I understand they don't have too be nice, they don't have to be role models and they do have the right to free speech, but then again so do the fans and they tend to vote with feet and wallet The funniest thing Ive seen in ages was earlier today, I'm not a lover of social media but my pal sent me a few tweets of that twitter one by BJS saying 'theres a big Gypsy meeting tomorrow, BJS Tyson , Peter and Hughie Fury attending to discuss the issue of bulling towards gypys in boxing' That's not it word for word but take a look and its written there online on BJS twitter account  now we been told time and time again they not the same as us mere mortals, not these super fighting warriors we know nothing even them that's been in boxing all there lives, we have to show them respect, no question of it, there opponents must show them respect but expect none in return, the media must bow before them and not question them or what they say, the fans must love respect and adore them when they deem too entertain us (on that rare occasion one turns up ), my question is how can they possibly feel bullied if all of the above is true?, ffs its even more concerning its Trolls on twitter that they are most intimidated by imagine that being bullied via the internet the sheer terror of it, Edited April 24, 2017 by arcticgun

DogMan85 722
I think the Furys may have got hooked on hypocrisy. They moan about David Haye messing them about only to become the biggest messers in the game. They cry about discrimination whilst spouting off crap about other groups. They bitch about drugs cheats only to get popped for PED's themselves. They whine about Joshua's drug conviction despite it being minor in comparison to the drug empire overseen by Peter Fury. You really couldn't make it up. Edited April 24, 2017 by DogMan85
