Very curious to find out what's made Hughie pull out. Anyone know whether the UKAD hearing scheduled for this month has happened yet?

How strange that every time this little mob cant sell tickets their fighter gets injured,its never been listed on Boxnation,BT havent done any promotion,no conclusion with Ucad......and the lad never went over to acclimatise.....folk criticize big Josh but he,s fought 5 times since the bigger Fury was last out......i remember getting shouted down ages ago by a few of the gypsy fans on here for saying both them lads should of gone with proper trainers in established boxing gyms as they have no clue how the game works...... if they did they wouldnt need to tell so many lies everyone else sticks with the 3 P,s what every pro fighter and his camp know and understand.....Plan,Prepare,Perform......thats all boxing gyms are about leave promoting to promoters,match making to matchmakers and managing to managers......this " we are real men so we can do everything ourselves " carry on got universally laughed at because of its naivety......its always funny watching folk who have been around something 5 minutes claim to be experts but when its your own family it cant be nice i feel sorry for both them lads i doubt we,ll ever know how good they really are and neither will they.

nail on the head from somebody who actually knows the game from bottom up, Joshua said something the other day in an interview, when asked about getting ready for a fight, he said I don't get ready I stay ready, and I think that's honestly is the difference between him and the rest, he not been in game since he was a kid, he started late, but he has learned and continues too soak up knowledge, he is dedicated, focused , makes the sacrifices, most important he doesn't give it mouth and fail too back it up when it counts, there's a lot more to being a champion than simply winning a belt anyone can get lucky once, same way anyone can have a bad night that's boxing ,

I think your not far from the truth , Hughie a good lad, I feel for him, watched an interview Friday and he was well up for it, smashing lad, no bragging just a quietly confident lad, he was even complimentary of aj, but did not think he would win, him and peter best off sorting the UkAD thing and leaving frank too sort Tyson out its a crime that kid asnt out in new Zealand three weeks ago at the very least, Parker lot done everything they possibly could to ensure ths goes ahead and the fans who already payed don't loose out, theres likely a very small chance fury could still be therebut I doubt it, somebody will though and that kid has too live with that, I ccan see them struggling badly too get a fight eve once the UKAD issue sorted

It will probably get to the stage where its written into the contract that they are made to guarantee part of the purse.....a bit like they tried to demand David Haye do .....besides which its unfair to all the undercard fighters/trainers etc.

 

There has to come a time when the 2 lads themselves come under fire at the end of the day they are grown men with their own futures to think of if they want to walk away from the mess around them they are free to do so....if they dont then you have to question their will to win and desire as sportsmen its one thing for fans to never know how good a fighter could of been but to never know it yourself.......every genuine fighting man has that desire to test himself and know the limit of his ability whatever level that may be its just in a fighters heart to fulfil their potential......to not do that shows a lack of competitive spirit in my opinion.

Been announced that Hughie has a lower back injury, tried too work through it but has been advised that he is medically unfit to fight, will take three weeks rest, Parkers people are looking for a replacement so the fight can go ahead as per schedule, its a big thing in New Zealand and a massive gamble on future investments, so a lot of people stood too lose out most importantly the fans, hope he makes a good recovery, his team looking as rescheduled date asap, think its a massive ask of Parkers people, he will be itching too get another shot a another belt via, wilder, Wlad or possibly AJ in his next fight, likely be his choice cos this his mandatory defence, it could real interesting real soon the heavyweight scene, all the ones with the belts are game enough lads, wilders played at being the champ for long time now, lets see how good he really is,
