Anyone shooting those Barracuda Hunter Extreme? Gonna get some to put through me new 98

 

I'm not one to stray from the good old dome, but a friend literally pulled his willy out when he told me how good they are. So. Calm day, bit chilly, .177 98, these pellets... all be well and they perform ok, should be good.

 

Give it 20 minutes on paper and I'll no doubt be back with the FTT's.

 

Can't hurt to try though. Can it....

I have been banging on about them for a while, my Brocock absolutely loves them, as did my old HW77, they are still accurate at long range, hit very hard in .177 and I tell you what, I have recovered one or two from various things I have shot,there does appear to be some expansion, not perhaps as much as some would have us believe, but they really do seem to impart a hell of a lot of energy into the animal, body shot woody's literally just fold without a twitch, and the sound when you head shoot squirrels is tremendous, so yes give them a try bud, if your rifle likes them, I think you will be very pleasantly surprised.

yeah i used them in the hw110 and airwolf rez

spot on in both and like charlie said they stop stuff in there trax!

had to stop using them in the wolf cos they would jamb up in the mag every now and again the flat nose use to stop it indexing properly

still got a few in me tin, might have to try them in the 95

As many will know I am not a .22 fan, however even I accept some rifles......... hw 99s for example are better in .22, I would be very interested to hear how they perform in .22 if anyone has used them.

Have a look at the h&n hollow points Rez

There light as f, I never used the tx for hunting but it was accurate as u like with them and spat them out at about 880fps

Yes mate my old 77 loved them too, was that in .22 or .177 mate?

Tried them in my hw100k , very good out to 45 yards after that opened up at 50 ,55,60 yards by 55 mm

Never tried them in a spring gun though

You need to give AA express a go Rez great in all my .177 guns PCP and spring guns

Rez I listened to Mitch and bought 5000 JSB Exact Express Diablo 7.87 gr, 4.52.

 

Same pellet as AA Express, just different tins.

 

Up to know I have used them through my .177 spring guns only but to great effect.

 

 

 

 

 

Try them mate, they are extremely fast ( 820 f/sec "ish") hit very hard and superbly accurate.
