Bourne13 4
Hello I'm looking for some advice I've always been interested in falconry . I've been asked about taking a bird or prey on (I'm in pest control) and my boss has asked if I'd be interested . Was hoping for some advice. Where do I start ? Is there any clubs ect . I've read about mentors but I'd imagine they are like hens teeth?. Any help much appreciated. Quote Link to post

david901 165
Hi Bourne The books I started out reading were Philip Glaziers book - Falconry and Hawking and also Emma Fords book Falconry Art and Practice. There are more modern books, some are good some are cr*p. These books are relatively cheap or get them from the Library. But a good mentor nearby is the way to go. All the best Quote Link to post
