+ 2 , it will get worse deff, the police know anything that involves hunting with dogs, day/night will always be a easy target for them . they rather pull a car over with few lads and dogs than go to proper crime . funny i was thinking the other day, in 3 years time when we hit the big 2020 , what the pressure's and bull shit will be on people that want to work working type dogs then . i think every year on it will get worse , i fee sorry for the younger people starting out now , i was lucky i had 30 years of messing about with lurchers . But even back then you still get agro , most keepers and few farmers , but now they only got to see a lamp , and nearly every feckers on your back

Years ago in ireland, no one bothered you when you went lamping ect. You could lamp away on most farms and course and go rabbiting during the day time with not a bother, most farmers were glad to get rid of a few bunnys.

I have been living here now for the passed 28 years and i can tell you now, it was a lot different back when i first came here, then it is now.. !

 

Could also be the few bad apples that got into it the last 10 15 years or so, that gave the sport a bad name !

I'm only on that land some of the time. I lamp a lot of dairy/beef land too. The rough stuff's do-able daylight, dawn and dusk but I'd be wary of it in the dark.

they will gleefully harass the shite out of every bloke they come across after dark with a dog,the coursing clubs are pushing for this for years,the deer society and the wildlife rangers are the same,they got extra eyes and feet on the street and lanes to try halt the big bad poachers with dogs,,,they should look a bit closer to home as a lot of poachers have deer licences,shooting for profit...

wouldnt be too worried about it if your clean an innocent lads . i mean if your out lamping/poaching and stopped by the local idiots and it turns out youve got previose for burglary tresspassing all shit like that then youre f****d any sort previose that puts you in that catagory.many factors will determine the outcome... might be a half decent thing
