I have been very good mates with a man who has owned worked and bred some of the very best dogs in the country during the seventies and eighties, Ken Gould. i have known Ken since the late seventies, and worked his strain for a lot of years. I have an old stud dog of Kens in the house now ("Ovitt" line), he's about 13 or 14 now. I never actually worked Smithy, but knew the dog well, Sparticus, Ace, Nigger( who i once owned) and countless other dogs bred and worked by Ken were great ambassadors of the breed.Dave Harcombs "Jack" was bred by Ken, his litter sister "Jill" my mate owned.
