Eddie Jones was asking world rugby to assist Italy in the week before the match , I think that he genuinely thought that the tactic used was not in the spirit of the game , do rugby fans really believe that it was good for the sport, I don't I want to see a team compete physically to the best of their ability with pride , if they lose at least they gave their all and can hold their heads high.

true  lets hope the jocks and the irish want to play against england like the above , either way england will win this tournament easy now , just watch next week

Stick that up your arse Walshie. Guts and determination. Jok.

Good to see you fired up mate. I suppose it's the years of bitter disappointment that finely hone that spirit.

Now come and take back the Calcutta Cup (if you're able). We're tired of cleaning it now.

I hate any kind of whingeing in rugby either from players, managers or supporters Eddie Jones is a good manager he guards his players jealously and his love of the game is obvious to see I can forgive him a little mind games the Italy game was won and over all comments he made were for the ears of the Scots and the Irish ,dark forces at play lol

i think he made the comments because he was embarrassed his players took so long to get on top of a team he claimed weren't good enough to be in the championship and wanted to deflect attention away for them

Beast. Totally agree. He played a tight game and TBH I gave him MOM. I know the points went to our kicker but thought he deserved it. Only my opinion. Really looking fwd to the Cup. Jok.

Totally agree. I was brought up and played with these guys (dads) for Galashiels and Melrose. The Laidlaws are close family friends as with my former coach Jim Telfer. Now as he is the leading light, I wonder where this position is going to go. Price for me all day long. Just seems to have a better all round awareness. We shall see. Jok.

Downs view. Not really mate. Just that Melrose lads stick together and apart from Hawick we were all mates who went to the same school. The Hastings brothers were brilliant as is Keith Robertson and a hell of a lot more I could mention. Don't seem to get same solidarity in English rugby do you. Jok.
