When I was in school I'd have the ferrets in their box, nets in the bag and spade beside the front door for eleven o clock every Saturday morning. Then it was "Old Country" or "Out of Town." 'till ha

Been watching a couple of videos on youtube of old Jack Hargreaves commenting on purse net making used to love watching his OUT OF TOWN programmes, these program's should be brought back showcasing

I remember the tv series the first time around as well Neil lol. I remember the lad with so much enthusiasm for everything countryside most of it illegal now! I had a really understanding Mam who just

Jacks Game with the Giraffe ?

Don't remember that and I seen all of Jacks Game.

Another favourite of mine and IMO he was a proper countryman was Phil Drabble, even if he wasn't liked by a lot of terriermen.

Personally I could get where he was coming from with his remarks.

I read OF PEDIGREE UNKNOWN and thought it was pretty good at the time. I remember watching a programme where he lived! It would have been a dream waking up there every morning and walking the land. He wrote another book I think the title was BADGERS AT MY WINDOW! Kind of shared the same interest as me lol
