Advice Needed

Has any of you imported a dog from within the EU, and what is involved? I doubt I can just nip over to Spain to bring a dog back, or can I? Or what paper work and inoculations are required? Don't want to have to put a pup into quarantine, I would rather do without.

Taken mine to France several times, don't you just need to give them a rabies jab a couple of months before plus worming tablets 48 hours before the trip?

Get the owner in Spain to get the dog jabbed up including Rabies the same vet will worm it at the appropriate time and do the paperwork for the pet passport should be no quarantine involved other than its 21 days in Spain after the rabies jab so i am told

Sounds simple enough DB cheers. Will have a word with the guy who I might be dealing with. I thought they would have been more to it than that.

From the sound of mushrooms post about bringing his dog back he just put the dog on a lead and brang it home. Good luck with the dog your getting.

Yeah I remember when he came over for his Saluki x, its sounds like he just put it on a lead and jumped on a train lol

desert breds spot on microchip passport rabies jab then can travel 21days after jab dewormed the day before travel
