Wanted Rabbiting Terrier

Rabbiting Terrier bitch wanted for my nephew who has just got into ferreting.

Ideal bitch would be under 18 months old and looking for a Border or Border Lakeland type that must work cover and ideally mark.

Money waiting for the right dog and we live in Cumbria but are willing to travel for the right dog, Most grateful if a trial can be offered.

You would be better of buying a pup mate than more than likely someone else's crap, don't get me wrong you get a few decent dog men who have to sell up due to certain circumstances, but normally then if the dog is decent a local lad or mate of theirs will normally snap it up. whats the benefit of a terrier for this kind of work. Genuine question as I have one who bushes and will mark but no ferrets. Terrier pushes out of cover how do u catch? Mine gets the odd one in cover but not enough to fill pot. Also I'm assuming they would get bunny as it comes out of tube but if it gets by them then terrier not going to catch.

If it marks it would be ideal and as for pushing rabbits out of cover my nephew as a greyhound/whippet cross who will catch them in most cases and he is also using longnets

There's nowt wrong with shooting bolting rabbits is there? Great sport to shoot over a bushing terrier/spaniel as well

iv used my busher to put rabbits to ground before netting up and ferreting the holes
