Homeless Patterdales

Recommended Posts

no doubt if you tried to get a patt from one one of these rescue centres, first thing they would ask are yougoing to work it, which is usually a big no no,they usually like them to go to a nice elderly couple and never get achance of doing what they love to do,what a sad lifeand existence, for such game dogs.

Old man has one as a pet pay over the road from me lovely looking dog tbf sadly it tries to kill anything that goes near it and I have never seen it off the lead in the 2 years I have known him. Sad state of affairs in my eyes.

Yep people buying dogs they know nothing about just because they look nice and then expect them to be lapdogs, a lot of these terriers that end up in these centres are pts because of aggression issues due to being in the wrong home and seeing no work.

The bitch I've got come from a pet home who couldn't cope. As been said above people don't really appreciate what they're getting especially if from working stock. Lad who looked after mine when I was away has a kc border and it's like chalk and cheese. Pet dogs have been bred to be chilled out, docile etc

Yep,I know the bloke, and another in Sydney.Priced too high for most hunters, going to cashed up city people to waste.End up in the pound put down, thinking its a out of control black mongrel terrier.

There deffinately a breed that should only be kept by dedicated terriermen.Breeders over here selling pups for up to $2000 dollars, opening the gates to puppy peddlers.
