Is it just us or is everyone got moles at present??

 

 

The phone seems to ring off the hook with people asking for us to come and catch them.

Never seen so many round here,put nine traps in a small field sat ,took seven moles out of em yesterday morning....if everywhere as busy the pesties will have a beano lol

Loads round by us as well you can't drive down a country lane with out seeing mole hills everywhere

Im moling from morning till dusk every day at the moment, actually glad i was going to dentist today to have a day off.

I was collared by a farmer two days ago, he pulls up as i was hanging moles on a barbed wire fence and asks me if i wanted any more work. I explained that no i didnt really want any more but i wouldnt refuse so he gives me directions to his farm, tells me to come have a look. I went yesterday afternoon, 600 acres right between moorland, and its riddled with moles, i reckon ill be close to smashing four figures of moles in next two weeks just at this one spot, plus ive my usual farms. Im stowed under.

I have just took delivery of another 100 traps from Flatpack making 600 we have now. At this rate Flatpack will be getting another order in by the end of the week.

Ye, i just put an order in myself too. ive no idea how many traps i have at the moment but its a lot! was toying with asking on here if anyone would lend me some for a couple of month.

Yes same here , not sure i've ever been so busy , had every trap out , was in a real panic waiting for some more , thank god they came quickly. It seams as one job finishes two more come in. What i like is a new customer , which often leads to more pest control work later in the year and so on.

I agree, if they actually remember you don't just do moles!!!!!!!

Its a good point we often find people think we either just do moles or we just do pest control in a general form. Make sure you put a small flier in with their invoice that has a list of things you deal with otherwise when they get a wasp nest why would they call a mole catcher....

I give everyone a business card , an invoice telling them i do a range of pest control and both have my web address on and yes they still forget you can deal with a wasp nest . Yet occasionally they do, thank your god, remember.
