Born Hunter 17,798
Supreme Court have ruled 8-3 that Brexit must be an Act of Parliament. They've also ruled that the devolved governments have no say, only Westminster.

Born Hunter 17,798
So long as snakes stay at home that day then it's all go IMO May is doing a reasonable job and Parliament wont cause her too much of an issue. The hardcore Europhiles will try to make their stance for their delusion of democracy and justice but it'll not be enough. I think it's a big win having the most powerful man on the planet supporting the British Gov's position! PS I've just noticed that spellchecker tries to correct 'Europhile' to 'Pedophile'! It's risky under our system but it's up to the UK Electorate to remember these problem MPs and hold them accountable at the ballot.

Greyman 28,852
Funny that Blair never had any trouble giving away our sovereign rights in return for his spell as eu leader,( which has fell flat on its face) yet ask for them back and we are made to jump through hoops, bring on the revolution, time for a proper clear out of these limp wristed wankers that are know more than a waste of oxygen and care only for themselves
Lid 194
All this could have been avoided if the referendum had been made legally binding in the first place, (which would have required a vote in parliament as a matter of course). I was a remainer, but now I just wish they get on with it. There is no need for anymore delay!
Malt 379
I'm glad.. The whole thing was nothing more than an exercise in the rule of law having precedence over the elected government and the rule of law won. Now they can get on with it..
Nik_B 3,790
I don't understand why anyone thinks this is good. May will now have to negotiate with MPs as well as Brussels. It will get watered down because of this. It shows our democracy to be a total joke, we were give a referendum, we were promised it would be final by Cameron and now this... Of course I am not surprised.
