socks 32,253 Posted January 23, 2017 Report Share Posted January 23, 2017 As I was leaving my village this afternoon I turned a corner to see a muntjac doe at the side of the road with her legs doing the river dance ... a 4x4 was pulling away which I presumed was the vehicle that hit it and the two cars Infront of me just drove round it ... firstly I can't understand why people can just happily drive around an animal that's in obvious pain and secondly pass up the free meat ... anyway their loss my gain ....... 7 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Whats the sp with regards to lifting dead wildlife anyway i was under the impression there was some highways law that said your not allowed to just do a runner with a corpse ?......course me being a good law abiding citizen i just accepted that. (3) A person shall not be guilty of an offence under section 4(1)(a) or section 4(1)( above by reason of setting in position, or using, any trap or net for the purpose of preventing the suffering of an injured or diseased deer.
